The Academic Partnership team is hosting the New York State Transfer Articulation Association’s (NYSTAA) Eastern Region Fall meeting on Thursday, September 25th from 11-2pm in Bldg 7, Rooms CDE. Attendees are NYSTAA members from two- and four-year colleges, both private and public. During the meeting a panel discussion will be held from 11:20-12:20 on Adult Learners: Understanding Who They are and Their Challenges.

Join the open discussion with higher education professionals on adult transfer students. Panelists will give an overview and profile of the adult learner, discuss the challenges adult students face, give insight on the students’ expectations, and share their perspective and best practices in working with adult transfer students. An transfer graduate will also give their perspective as an adult learner and transfer student.
